Credit notes for refunds

How credit notes work for Belgian orders with refunds.

When a customer receives a refund on an order, you may need a credit note alongside the original invoice.

Belgian orders

For orders with billing country Belgium, the app supports credit notes in both PDF and XML:

  1. Open Orders and find the order with a refund.

  2. Click View Invoice and choose the listed Credit Note.

  3. Or click Download XML and select the matching credit note entry.

After new refunds

If you add or change refunds in Shopify, click Update Invoice on that order so credit note data and XML are regenerated.

Note

Credit note PDF and XML options in the invoice menu are available for Belgian billing addresses. Other countries are not supported for e-invoicing in the app today.
