Download PDF and XML files

How to download invoice and credit note files from the Orders page.

After an invoice exists for an order, you can download files from the Orders page.

PDF (invoice preview)

  1. Click View Invoice.

  2. Select Invoice or a Credit Note (Belgian orders with refunds).

  3. Use the preview window to review the document. Download options depend on your browser when viewing the PDF.

XML (Peppol)

  1. On the same order row, click Download XML.

  2. Choose Invoice XML or a listed Credit Note if refunds exist.

The XML file uses the Peppol BIS 3.0 format for Belgian invoices.

Tip

If you change order or customer data in Shopify, use Update Invoice first so the PDF and XML match the latest order information.
