Overview

If changes you made in the app do not appear on the storefront, this is usually caused by unsaved changes, caching, or theme context.

Follow the steps below to identify the cause.

Step 1: Check if changes are saved

Changes are applied only after saving.

What to check

  • Bulk order form is saved

  • Pricing, visibility, or product changes are saved

  • No unsaved changes remain in the app

Step 2: Check the active theme

The storefront always uses the active theme.

What to check

  • The theme you edited is the active theme

  • The extension is added to that theme

If you edited a draft theme, changes will not be visible.

Step 3: Refresh the storefront

Browser caching can delay updates.

What to do

  • Refresh the page

  • Hard refresh (Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + R)

  • Open the page in a private/incognito window

Step 4: Check customer context

Some changes depend on who is viewing the page.

What to check

  • Customer is logged in (if required)

  • Customer matches visibility rules

  • Correct bulk order form is shown

Step 5: Check product and variant state

Changes may not apply if:

  • Product is unpublished

  • Variant is unavailable

  • Product was removed from the form

Verify product status in Shopify.

Step 6: Check for conflicting bulk forms

Only one bulk order form can be shown at a time.

If another form matches the customer:

  • Your changes may apply to a different form

  • The storefront shows a different configuration

Common causes at a glance

  • Changes not saved

  • Editing a non-active theme

  • Cached storefront

  • Wrong customer account

  • Another bulk form overrides changes
