Apply a value to many customers

Use bulk apply when the same value should be written to many selected customers.

Steps

1. Select customers with the checkboxes, or use Select all matching to select everyone that matches your current search, segment, and filters (up to 50,000 customers). Progress is shown while the selection is collected.

2. In the bulk edit bar, choose a Field.

3. Enter or select the Value (dropdowns appear for yes/no and select fields such as locale or marketing consent).

4. Click Apply to selected.

5. Review the staged changes in the table, then Save with the Shopify save bar.
   
   ⚠️ Be aware that changes are permanent if you save!

Notes

• Bulk apply stages changes in the editor first. Nothing is written to Shopify until you save.

• Selected customers do not all have to be visible in the spreadsheet at once — select-all matching can stage updates for a large matching set, then you save with preview and progress.
