Follow these steps to generate your first Belgian e-invoice.

Use the setup guide on the app home page, or follow the steps below.

Step 1: Open the app

  1. Go to your Shopify admin.

  2. Open Apps and select EU E-Invoice.

Step 2: Complete Company Settings

  1. Go to Company Settings in the app.

  2. Enter your VAT / Tax ID (for Belgium, use the format BE0123456789).

  3. Fill in your company name, address, city, postal code, and set Country to Belgium.

  4. Add a phone number and email address.

  5. Click Save Settings.

Step 3: Generate an invoice from an order

  1. Open Orders in the app.

  2. Find an order with billing country Belgium and complete customer details.

  3. Click View Invoice to open the PDF preview.

  4. Use Download XML if you need the Peppol XML file.

Step 4: Review the result

Check that the PDF shows the correct buyer, totals, and your company details. Download the XML if you need to send or archive the electronic file.
