Overview

The Wholesale cart sits on the cart page. It collects extra B2B fields, can add a handling fee, and can show the B2B price summary before checkout. It does not replace Shopify checkout.

Custom prices and volume prices still come from those modules. The wholesale cart is where buyers confirm them and add order details.

The wholesale cart is included in Growth. Turn it on under Order management.

What you can add

  • Extra fields such as an order reference, delivery date, or notes.

  • Each field can be saved as an order attribute, or as a customer or company metafield.

  • A handling fee, as a fixed amount or a percentage.

  • A lock that keeps checkout closed until required fields are filled in.

  • A company banner for logged-in company contacts.

Set it up

  1. Open Apps โ†’ B2B & Wholesale โ†’ Order management.

  2. Turn Wholesale cart on.

  3. Create a cart. Add fields from the toolbox, choose where each value is saved, pick a design template, and set who can see the cart.

  4. Add the Wholesale cart app block to the cart template. Use Finish setup on the card, then save the theme.

Design, field labels, and translations live on each wholesale cart, in Extra fields, Design, and the translation step. There is no separate global label page for this module.

Check it

Open the cart as a customer who matches the visibility. Confirm the fields, the fee, and the price summary. If required fields are empty, checkout should stay locked. If the block is missing after a theme change, add it again on the new theme. The cart configuration in the app stays saved.
