Overview

Registration forms collect wholesale details before, or instead of, a normal Shopify account signup. Buyers apply. You review the application and approve it when they should be able to order.

The Free plan includes one active registration form on the storefront. Starter and Growth remove that cap. Turn the module on under Customer management.

Set it up

  1. Open Apps โ†’ B2B & Wholesale โ†’ Customer management.

  2. Turn Registration forms on.

  3. Open Open registration forms and create a form with the fields you need from a wholesale applicant.

  4. Add the registration form theme block to a page template. Use Finish setup, then save the theme.

  5. Optional: import the Shopify Flow workflows from the setup guide. One emails your team when someone registers. The other sends B2B access after you approve the application. Set the recipient and turn each workflow on.

Review and approve

  1. Open View registrations. New applications stay pending until you act on them.

  2. Open a pending registration and approve it. Approval creates or links the Shopify customer.

  3. Choose how the company is handled: Create a new company, Assign to an existing company, or No company.

Only pending registrations can be approved. After approval, the customer can log in with the account you created. If prices should stay hidden until then, combine this with Login to see prices.
