Create a shipping zone

What is a shipping zone in this app?

An app shipping zone is where you build the prices checkout should return: fixed rates, weight- or cart-based pricing, conditions, and a visual flow. This is separate from Shopify’s own shipping zones or markets — those decide where the carrier is attached; the app zone decides what prices to return.

Create a zone

1. Open Shipping rates in the app.
2. Click Create shipping zone (or Create first zone from the home checklist).
3. The rates flow window opens. Open Start when… on the left and enter a zone name.
4. Use + on the canvas to add conditions and rates.
5. Click Save. The zone must have a name before it can be saved.

Tips

• Name zones by destination or purpose (for example “Netherlands” or “EU express”).
• You can open an existing zone from the list to edit the same flow.
• Unsaved changes show a save bar; closing the window while dirty asks for confirmation.
