Translate content in the editor

The Translate page shows source content next to the target language so you can review and edit translations.

Translate a resource

1. Open Translate.

2. Choose a language and a content type (for example products, collections, or pages).

3. Select a resource from the list.

4. Edit fields manually, or use Translate actions to fill missing or outdated fields with AI.

5. Save your changes.

Field status

• Missing — no translation yet.

• Outdated — source changed since the last translation.

• Complete — up to date.

Tips

• Empty source fields are skipped.

• After you save a translation yourself, that field becomes locked for automatic jobs.

• You can unlock a field later if you want automatic jobs to update it again.
