What automatic jobs skip

Automatic and scheduled jobs focus on customer-facing copy. Technical fields stay in the source language unless you change them in the editor.

Skipped automatically

• URL handles and similar slugs
• Product types
• Links, URLs, and file references
• IDs, SKUs, barcodes, and short codes such as S / M / L
• JSON and other technical value types
• Empty source fields
• Locked fields you saved yourself

Can be filled when Missing or Outdated is selected

• Titles and descriptions
• SEO title and description
• Option names and similar labels
• Image alt text
• Other storefront-facing text fields

Recommendation

For scheduled jobs, start with Outdated only. Add Missing only when you also want first-time translations.
