Show prices including and excluding VAT

Overview

Tax display shows prices including VAT, excluding VAT, or both, on product and collection pages. It only changes the label customers see. It does not remove VAT at checkout.

Use Tax Exempt when a validated VAT number should make the order tax-exempt. Use Tax display when you only want incl./excl. price labels.

Set it up

1. Open Apps → B2B & Wholesale → Tax & prices.

2. Turn Tax display on. This module is included in Starter and Growth.

3. Open Finish setup and enable the app embed in the active theme. The embed is what lets the labels run on product and collection pages.

4. Create a tax display rule. Choose the products or collections, who should see the label, and the including / excluding VAT text.

5. Open Tax display → Settings and set the VAT rates, product-page appearance, and collection-card display.

6. Keep the rule status On and save.

Check the storefront

Open a product that belongs to an active rule, as a customer who matches the visibility. You should see the including and/or excluding VAT label. If the label is missing, confirm the module is on, the rule is On, and the app embed is enabled on the theme that is currently published.
