Hide prices until customers log in

Overview

Login to see prices hides prices for guests, or for the customers you select, and shows a login link instead. You can also hide Add to cart. The module is off until you turn it on, so retail prices stay visible by default.

Use it to keep wholesale prices behind an account. It does not change the price itself. Pair it with Custom Pricing or Volume pricing when logged-in buyers should see a B2B price.

Set it up

1. Open Apps → B2B & Wholesale → Tax & prices.

2. Turn Login to see prices on. This module is included in Starter and Growth.

3. Create a rule. Choose which products or collections hide their price.

4. Choose who the price is hidden for. The usual starting point is guests. You can also target tags, specific customers, or companies.

5. Set the login message, the link customers should follow, and whether Add to cart is hidden. Hiding Add to cart is on unless you turn it off.

6. Set the rule to On, save, and enable the app embed from Finish setup.

Check the storefront

1. Open a product from the rule in a private window, while logged out.

2. The price should be replaced by your login link. Add to cart should be hidden if you left that option on.

3. Log in as a customer who is allowed to see prices and confirm the price returns.

If prices are still visible to guests, confirm the module is on, at least one rule is On, the product is in that rule, and the app embed is active on the published theme.
