Use segments in the bulk editor

Segments help you load a focused group of customers into the bulk editor.

Use an existing segment

1. Open Customers in the app.

2. In the Segment dropdown, choose a segment (or All customers).

3. The table loads members of that segment so you can edit them in bulk.

From the Segments page

1. Open Segments in the app navigation.

2. Find a segment and click Edit in bulk to open the editor with that segment selected.

From the dashboard

Recent segments on the dashboard also include an Edit in bulk action.

Access notes

Segments require customer access in Shopify. Staff with restricted customer permissions may see a warning that segments are unavailable. Search and bulk editing of loaded customers can still work.
