The Text Settings page allows you to customize all customer-facing text shown in the VAT validation form.

In most cases, you can safely leave these settings unchanged.
The default texts are designed to work well for the majority of stores and customers.

Use these settings only if:

  • You want to change the wording or tone of the messages

  • You need custom phrasing for your brand

  • You want to adjust terminology for your market (e.g. VAT vs tax)

Language behavior

By default:

  • These texts apply to all countries

  • The same texts are shown regardless of customer location

If you want to use different languages per country, use Shopifyโ€™s Translations feature instead.
