Overview
The VAT form only shows after two things are in place: the app embed is on in the active theme, and the form is placed on the cart page or in the cart drawer.
Open Apps → B2B & Wholesale → Tax & prices, turn Tax Exempt on, then open Finish setup.
Step 1: Enable the app embed
In the setup guide, choose Add extension. This opens the theme editor with the Tax Exempt app embed.
Turn the embed on and save the theme.
The dashboard shows App active when the embed is enabled on the published theme. If it stays on Not active, the embed is missing or the theme was not saved.
Step 2: Add the form to the cart page
If the store uses a dedicated cart page (/cart):
In the setup guide, choose Add Cart Extension.
Place the Tax Exempt block where the form should appear.
Save the theme.
Cart drawer
A cart drawer does not pick up the cart page block. Paste this snippet into the cart drawer Liquid file, where the form should appear:
<div id="ooTaxExemption"></div>
Go to Online Store → Themes.
Open Edit code on the active theme.
Find the drawer file. Common names are
cart-drawer.liquid,drawer-cart.liquid,mini-cart.liquidorcart-notification.liquid.Paste the snippet and save.
The setup page in the app has a copy button and the same cart drawer steps. If the drawer file is hard to find, contact support from the in-app chat for a custom placement.
