AI formula assistant

Ask AI to write or improve pricing formulas and optional custom variables for an existing calculator.

What this does

The AI formula assistant helps inside the calculator builder when you already have fields. Describe the pricing logic you want; the assistant proposes a formula (and may add computed properties / custom variables to keep complex math readable).

On Premium, it can also suggest conditional (if / then / else) formulas when your description needs branching prices.

Where to find it

  1. Open a calculator in the Calculator builder.
  2. Go to the Calculation / Formula step.
  3. Open the AI formula assistant.
  4. Describe the pricing logic, then apply the suggestion only after you have reviewed it.

StarterUnlimited formulas; conditional formulas are not included. If you ask for branching logic, the assistant stays on a standard formula or prompts you to upgrade.
PremiumUnlimited formulas, including conditional pricing when needed.

What AI may change

  • Replace the main pricing formula
  • Add or update custom variables (computed properties)
  • On Premium, replace or add conditional formula rules

It does not invent random storefront fields by itself in this flow — it works from the calculator you already built (plus optional variables it adds for clarity).

Best practices

  • Name your field keys clearly before asking AI (for example width_cm, material).
  • Tell AI the unit system and whether product_price should be included.
  • After applying, use the built-in formula preview / test inputs.
  • Save only when the result matches your business rules.
