Overview

You can restrict a bulk order form so that only specific customers can see and use it.

This option is ideal when:

  • You have a small number of B2B customers

  • Each customer needs unique access

  • You do not want to rely on customer tags

When to use specific customers

Use this option if:

  • You want full control over who can access the form

  • Customers do not belong to a shared group

  • You manage B2B customers individually

Step-by-step: assign specific customers

Step 1: Open the bulk order form

  1. Go to Bulk order forms in the app dashboard

  2. Open the form you want to restrict

Step 2: Configure visibility settings

  1. Go to the Visibility section

  2. Select Specific customers

  3. Search for customers by name or email

  4. Select one or more customers

Step 3: Save and enable the form

  1. Save the form

  2. Make sure the form status is On

  3. Test access using one of the selected customers

How customer-based visibility works

  • Customers must be logged in

  • Only selected customers can see the form

  • Other customers will not see the form at all

Important rules to know

  • A customer can be assigned to only one bulk order form

  • Customers already assigned to another form cannot be selected again

  • If a customer is removed from the form, access is immediately revoked

Common issues

Customer cannot be selected

Check:

  • Customer is already assigned to another bulk form

  • Customer exists in Shopify

  • Customer has an active account

Customer cannot see the form

Check:

  • Customer is logged in

  • The correct bulk form is enabled

  • No other bulk form is overriding visibility

Best practices

  • Use specific customers for small B2B groups

  • Use customer tags for larger groups

  • Document which customers are assigned to which form

  • Test visibility before going live
